This course will give you a better understanding of how common and dangerous the electrical arc flash hazard is to employees that are working on or near energized equipment. More importantly, it will explain how you can better protect your employees and your company from the risk and liability associated with the electric arc flash hazard.
Cintas has been conducting these courses across North America for over a decade due to an increasing interest, from companies large and small, in learning more about FRC & PPE. Today, corporate initiatives for safety compliance and implementation are critical priorities for safety managers everywhere. Companies continue to seek our help in determining whether they need to do anything, and if so, how they can get it done most cost effectively with a very simple and practical approach.
This course will address key NFPA & ASTM standards as well as OSHA regulations relating to FRC & PPE. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions as they relate to their specific workplace environment. Examples of common FRC & PPE items will be made available for the attendees to observe. Please note: This is a professional presentation; however attendees should be prepared to witness graphic video and content as a part of being educated in this discussion.
